GIVING AND LENDING

One day, my 6 years old daughter, who was still on the 1st grade of elementary school asked me curiously after school " Mom.. when we passed away, it meant God took our lives.. right?"

I was still allert with her question when she continued.. "You told me once that if I gave something to others, it was not polite to ask it back.. but if I lend it, I could ask it back.. right? Ms. Maria (her teacher) told me a story this morning that God had given us life, but then why He took our life back? He was not supposed to do that, wasn't He?

I was a bit confused to explain it correctly but I tried my best to explain by using simple words of her age that God created us not immortal, so that when the time had come we would passed away and we who believed in Him would return to Him in heaven..

Did you ever experience the same.. that our kids with their own simple way of thinking sometimes made us stunned and think extra because of their ordinary but tickling questions..?
